Space Tech Expo USA will feature a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Booth, headed up by Zemarc Fluid Power & Abundance, focused on helping staff and partners as they move towards breaking silos within the Aerospace Industry. Often DEI initiatives start within one organization, but the industry needs more collaboration between organizations to break industry silos, so Let’s Join Forces.

More Information

“It's about valuing the perspectives and influence that these different people have by showing them that we value inclusion through our interpersonal relationships, and the leadership we have at Zemarc really encourages people to practice influence by asking questions consistently and frequently. Because of the voice Zemarc leadership gave me, I am proud to use that privilege to advocate for diversity on an interpersonal level. I believe it really helps people understand the purpose of diversity beyond its political concept.”

“Being a female and a minority in the industry comes with a greater desire to need to prove oneself. This has been true even throughout my educational experience- Engineering is typically a male dominated field. However, I have been fortunate to have friends, peers and mentors guide me along the way in overcoming the challenging experiences. More importantly it is key that we share our experiences and continue the conversation of equality, diversity, and inclusion.”

“As a female with 13 years in the Industrial Manufacturing space, I have seen a growing voice and presence with Women in Industry. With companies finally collecting data on DEI in their organization, we guarantee the seats at the table are diverse. What set us apart is not our titles but our unique lens of the world. I am fortunate to have groups in my organization and external groups to collaborate with on these topics such as Women in Manufacturing (WiM)”
