Zemarc's DEI Advocacy Committee (DAC)

Zemarc's DEI Advocacy Committee identifies issues that currently or will affect diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. The committee meets regularly (weekly/ biweekly, monthly) to strategize resources required for DEI policies, programs, initiatives, and systems change. The committee coordinates and communicates resource requirements to the executive team and provides a plan to execute policies, programs, initiatives, and systems change. The committee also measures performance of, evaluates performance of, and makes modifications to policies, programs, initiatives, and systems changes. This committee requires its members to communicate their views while listening to other perspectives to eliminate biases as much as possible.

She believes that the industries' success depends on people and the empowerment that people give to each other. She wants diversity to be more than just a headcount; it needs to be about what influence and empowerment are we instilling in the people.
